Angola Medical Mission Trip Planned for April 2023!

Dr. Kim will be traveling to Quessua, a small town in eastern Angola, to help the beautiful people of Angola who suffer from severe cataract. She will be joined by Russ Montgomery, a missionary from the Living in Faith organization in Florida, and a group of volunteers from The Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church. The current plan is to perform forty cataract surgeries. This is only the second time cataract surgeries will be performed in eastern Angola. Although most of the surgical supplies are donated and Dr. Kim’s travel and time are pro bono, the expense per surgery is still about $100. In this part of Angola, a typical wage is less than $25 per month, so surgery has been out of reach for most patients. If you want to sponsor life-altering cataract surgeries for the Angolans, please contact Livinginfaith.net/donations. Dr. Kim welcomes prayers for God’s protection, mercy, and blessing to all who are involved in the mission trip.
